Hopefully the lockdown will end as schedule after the weekend, but in the interim, Rowing Australia and Rowing Victoria have some initiatives to help people train.

It’s the third leg now, when we follow the coast of Africa from Mogadishu to Port Elizabeth and back up to Dakar. There’s been a heap of effort so far, well done! Thanks to everyone that’s logged some activities. Hopefully we will be back on the water soon.

Club training program
Barwon is distributing a Club and Masters training program on Training Peaks. There is a mixture of activities and might be helpful for members who need a bit of guidance and inspiration to get their training on track.
Open and underage pre-season
If you want to kick start your Open and Underage season in 20-21, now is the time to start laying down the base. Sign up to Training Peaks and add Barwon as a coach to get training plans.
Core and Erg Session
Practice social isolation together and join in with one of our Zoom Sessions! Get involved and train your core and on the erg, followed by some ZoomDrinks.
Virtual Head of the Barwon
Sunday 5th April marks the first Virtual Regatta in what we hope to be a series of races whilst we can’t race and get on the water.
