Vale Michael Morgan

Barwon Rowing Club expresses its condolences to the family and friends of Michael Morgan who passed away on Monday in Western Australia.

Michael joined Barwon in 1960 and coxed for two years before rowing in many successful lightweight crews. He served as a committee member for the 1968/69 and 1969/70 seasons before moving to Perth.

He was a member of the Victorian Penrith Cup crew with Alan Hart, his brother Phil and CBRC member Rod Webb with Len Gladman as coach in 1967, placing third.
